Winter League - First round matches took place on Sunday 29 Jan. 4 teams (Men1 & 2, Ladies1 & 3) had wins and all enjoyed themselves despite the steady rain. Can only improve next week. Home matches at 9.30, 11 & 2 on 5 Feb. Come & support

AGM - 8pm, Thurs 29 March
Junior Nights - Fun Nights resumed 13 January, 6.30pm - 8pm. Organised by the Junior Committee & Cooley Academy. 6-16 year-olds & parent helpers welcome. €2/child.
Parents - pls drop & collect children at the clubhouse each night for child safety.
Club Nights - Every Thurs at 7.30pm. Free floodlights; mix in with other members.

About Us
Ratoath Tennis Club was established in May 2007 with ten committee members and no members. Straight away the committee started working hard together and, by the middle of 2008, we had 11 family members and 10 committee members. Development started and, by April 2009, a friendly club with 4 new all-weather Tiger Turf surface, floodlit courts just 3 minutes' walk from Ratoath village, was founded. We plan to soon be one of the premier tennis clubs in the N Dublin/Meath area. The club celebrated its 2nd anniversary on May 1st, 2011 with over 470 members. The Tennis Club is a facility for both recreational and competitive enthusiasts. The club seeks to foster excellence in tennis by providing instruction at all levels of play, encourage socialising through sport, promoting good sportsmanship, physical fitness and sporting fun. The club recognises the importance of introducing tennis to children and offers several junior tennis coaching classes. Our goal is to continue to expand adult and children’s tennis by offering instruction, use of our courts to neighbouring schools and by creating a social hub for families.
Rules of the club - All members and visitors must abide by the rules set by the club. These rules are designed to encourage all users to respect one another and above all to enjoy the game of tennis.
About Club Nights
Every Thursday from 7.30pm - 10 pm. All members and invited prospective members are welcome. Lights are provided for free while social play is in progress.
Social Sessions as stated as above unless otherwise notified. These are intended to be mainly for doubles and everyone who attends must be willing to mix in with other members, as required by the committee member running the session. There may be occasional league team pratice on one or two courts from 7:30pm - 8:30pm and after this hour, team members must mix in or give way if they have played a set already while other members have been waiting to play.
Fun Night for Juniors
Friday fun night runs from 6.30pm - 8pm. This is a fun social night for children ages 6-16 year olds.
Our junior committee along with a representative from the Karl Cooley Tennis Academy will provide a night of fun tennis in a supervised environment.
This night is open to members of the tennis club for a nominal fee of €2 per week which covers the cost of lights, balls etc
Each child will be asked to bring:
- Tennis Racquet

Rain Jacket
On the first night, parents will be asked to fill out a registration form for their child.
Parents are asked to drop the children to the clubhouse for registration each night. We would also ask for each child to be collected at the clubhouse.

Junior Coaching Program (except Summer Holiday when week-long Camps are run)
Monday: 3:30pm - 4:30pm (5 - 8 year olds)
4:30pm - 5:30pm (8 - 12 year olds)
Wednesday: 4:30pm - 5:30pm (8 - 12 year olds)
5:30pm - 7pm High performance squad - (contact Karl first before choosing this one)
Thursday: 3:30pm - 4:30pm (5 - 8 year olds)
4:30pm - 5.30pm (8 -12year olds)
5:30pm - 6.30pm (13-16 year olds)
Friday: 4:30pm - 5:30pm (8-12 year olds)
5:30pm - 6:30pm (12-16 year olds)
Adult Intermediate Coaching
- Saturday 10-11am - Ladies Only Coaching
- One-on-one coaching always available too.
